Oh my goodness.

Every day I hear of new initiatives that Passport members are developing. Today I have heard of several and Iโm going to tell you about one of these

Bob (Powys Team) has 2 daughters, Becky and Vicki

More about Becky in a later post
as we will have some great news.

Firstly, today is Vickiโs birthday. Happy birthday Vicki from Passport

Vicki isnโt a Rotarian but she works incredibly hard for Rotary

So what is being planned I hear everyone asking

Itโs so exciting

Vicki has a restaurant and Commercial kitchen and has kindly offered to work ( even more than she does already ) to set up a weekly lunch Club with the Powys Team.

Members will be asked to make a very, very small monthly donation for the meals. Even better, each member will be able to invite a guest who will be asked to pay a minimal amount per meal

. This will help members have a meal with a carer, family member, friend etc

It has been so hard for some people this year who have been isolated this will be an opportunity for them to spend time with others

Passport will be supplying the ingredients for the meals

. Due to restrictions, the meals will be chilled and collected from the kitchen. This will reassure some people who are still unsure and in time, when things are more normal, they could be served in the restaurant If members would prefer.

The Lunch Club will be starting very soon and members will be able to phone or email their food orders in advance.

Its hugely important that this project is ongoing so a massive amount of work has gone in to making sure itโs sustainable

Iโm so proud to be part of Passport. The work
, the ideas , the teamwork,

the friendships that have all developed in just a few weeks is staggering.
