Skipton – day trip by coach
May 27 @ 8:30 am - 6:30 pm£21
TRIP TO SKIPTON on Friday 27 May 2022
Skipton has so much to offer, from the market in the High Street, to the Castle to canal boat trips on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.
The coach will pick up at the Supermarket car park, off Queen Street, Middlewich at 8.45 am. And the Memorial Court, car-park side, in Northwich at 9.05 am.
You will have about 4 hours to enjoy Skipton:
The market is situated on the cobbles of the High Street and there are shops to either side of it.
The medieval Castle is over 900 years old and is one of the best preserved in the country. It is at the top of the High Street and entrance is £9.20.
There are trips on the canal which last for an hour and have an entertaining commentary by award-winning comedian Dave Spikey. The Wharf in Coach Street is 5 minutes walk from the Market and the trip cost about £9. Unfortunately they are not suitable for wheelchairs.
There are lots of restaurants and cafes for lunch or a snack.
The cost is £21.00 per person This does not include entrance to the castle and the canal boat trip.
