is always busy in the Community

So what does it get up to?

Well———-

On one journey the team in Powys delivered

sleeping bags and rucksacks to a

homeless project in Newtown

which will help people fight the cold weather this winter

The Passmobile is used to transport

multiple food exchanges

between different agencies such as

Newtown Rotary,

Staylittle and

Game Change.

Ingredients are made into gorgeous cakes

Scones , pies and other delicious things

The food is either made part of the Sunday Lunch Club menu

or sold to fundraise to reinvest in projects

In 3 days the Passmobile did 231 miles

travelling all over Powys visiting Newtown, Welshpool Caersws, Sarn, Dolwen,Llandinam,Llanidloes and more

But why does our little workhorse do all this you ask

Well, one ongoing project is harvesting HollyIvy

and fir cones to make Christmas wreaths

Also Christmas gift bags are being put together

to treat the elderly this year.

They are being called savoury and seed bags

and will include Recipe items

as well as seed to encourage birds into the garden

and meadow plant seeds to grow on a window sill .

Hopefully families will get involved too

and plant the seedlings next Spring
