Chartering the ship!

Our Inaugural Charter evening was a great success

Almost 70 Rotarians and guests attended

Our star guest was Rotary International President Holgar Knaack who made a very motivating speech

Thank you PDG Steve Martin for being a brilliant M C

Also thank you to DG David Hartley for your kind words too

Such an unusual way to hold a Charter but it was wonderful to see the humour, hard work and emotion this evening brought to the fore

There were so many examples of the difference Passport is already making in the community, some of which did bring a tear but also a lot of smiles and applause

We we’re thrilled to see so many quests join us.Thank you for spending your evening with us and writing so many lovely messages on screen .

And thank you to President James and all the Rotary‘Passporters’ for all that you have achieved in the few weeks we have been together and here’s to all the exciting things planned for our future
